STEP ONE

Review the eligibility and rules, to make sure you qualify. Must be 21 and over and a resident of the U.S. or Canada to enter

STEP TWO

Pay your entry fee - choose from our 1, 5 or 10 submissions. You can enter the same Reel in different categories (each category counts as one entry)

STEP THREE

Fill out the Submission Form (you’ll receive via email) no later than June 30th (but the sooner the better). That’s when your submissions will be completed

Finalists will be picked by our Expert Jurors and announced this summer.

Winners will be announced at our in-person red carpet and award ceremony on September 14, 2025 in Atlanta, GA. But you don’t need to attend to be eligible to enter the competition or win awards. Check out our FAQ.

“WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?”

Judges are not looking for professionally recorded Reels, complex editing and professional graphic design. This is not what The Reelies is for.

Jurors are going to judge the Reels according to the category description that it was entered in. For example: for the Best Educational Reel category, they will consider how effectively the Reel educates and the quality of the educational content.

The Expert Jurors will rate the Reels in each category. The 5 highest rated overall will become finalists — and get awarded our Finalist Award Certificate. After that, popular vote will decide the big winner or each category.
