WHY WE CREATED THIS COMMUNITY
After hosting the first The Reelies Awards in person event, it was clear that small businesses and creators craved the connection, both for their well-being and for their growth.
Soon after the first in-person ceremony we could see the power of our community. People were getting new clients they met on the ceremony, collaborating in projects, getting involved with our sponsor brands, creating together and even becoming friends!
But we know it’s not always easy to follow up and stay in touch. So we are making sure this happens to all of you. Not only on the red carpet once a year. All year round, in one place.

Do you need to enter or attend The Reelies to join?

No! Although we’d really love you to be a part of The Reelies Awards as well, this community is made for everyone who creates social content for their business, whether they are creators, freelancers, have a small agency, service-based or online business, or are in the social media industry.
No, while we keep The Reelies Awards limited to the U.S. and Canada for logistics reasons, this community is for everyone. Note that if you’re not in the U.S. or Canada, you will not be able to use your 5 Reelies entries that are included in the membership. If that’s the case, feel free to contact us and let us know who you want to gift them to!
Is this only for the U.S. and Canada?

We will be open for entries between April 1 and June 30, 2026. After that submissions close and we can’t make any exceptions. So make sure you give yourself plenty of time. When you join you will get the entries granted to you automatically via email. So keep an eye in your inbox!
When can I start using my entries?

What if I entered a category? Can I still vote?

Yes! Being a Member of The Reelies Board allows you to vote on the first round of The Reelies Awards, the expert round. You vote in every category, except the ones you entered. Just like the Academy Awards and other award shows. And don’t worry, if you vote in one of the categories one of your Reels are in by mistake, we will just disregard those votes.
What can I expect inside the community of The Reelies Board?

Inside the community we will have several channels where you can communicate directly with other members, via open messages in the channels or directly. The channels we have right now are: Opportunities for jobs and collaborations, Content Corner, to get support and help on your content, The Reelies Awards 2026, where you get entry support, plan your trip (if you’re coming to the red carpet ceremony in September) and connect with other attendees. We also have Start Here for introductions and General for everything else!
