"The Reelies" Award Show Submission Agreement
1. Submission Guidelines
To enter, you must be 21+ and a resident of the USA or Canada. Submit your original Instagram reel to the specified award category; multiple category entries with the same reel are allowed.
2. License for Use
By submitting, you grant to Your Social Team and The Reelies, its affiliates, licensees, and partners, an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, broadcast, publish, and distribute the submitted entries ('Reels') for any purposes deemed appropriate by Your Social Team and The Reelies, including but not limited to promotional, advertising, educational, and reference purposes, across all media platforms now known or hereafter devised. This may include electronic publishing, displaying at events, and inclusion in marketing materials or educational programs. You agree that Your Social Team and The Reelies may exercise this right at such times and in such manner as deemed appropriate, without any obligation to compensate you.
3. Judging
Entries are judged by selected experts to identify the top five finalists per category, with winners chosen by public vote. Details about judges and the voting process are on our website.
4. Personal Data
We'll handle any personal data you provide according to our Privacy Policy.
5. Withdrawing Your Entry
You can withdraw your entry by emailing support@yoursocial.team. No refunds are available for withdrawn entries.
6. No Contesting Disqualification
We have the right to disqualify entries without appeal. We’re not liable for any losses incurred due to disqualification or related publicity.
7. Your Promises to Us
You represent and warrant that the submitted Reels are your original work and do not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or legal rights of any third party. You must have all necessary permissions for any third-party content in your reel. You or person submitting the Reels is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions, approvals, and licenses for any copyrighted material included within their Reels. This includes, but is not limited to, music, video clips, and images.
8. Your Liability
You agree to cover any legal claims against us related to your reel, including claims of infringement. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Your Social Team, The Reelies, its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees and costs) arising from or in connection with any breach of the representations and warranties set forth in this agreement. Furthermore, you agree that Your Social Team and The Reelies shall not be held legally responsible for any matters pertaining to the creation, submission, and content of the work, including any legal challenges or disputes arising from copyright infringement or other violations.
9. Technical Issues
We are not liable for submission failures due to technical errors. Maintain a backup of your submission. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the entry process if necessary.
10. Fair Opportunity
We comply with the ADA and ensure a non-discriminatory submission process.
11. Uncontrollable Events
Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations due to events like natural disasters, pandemics, or war.
12. Your Entry is Yours Alone
Your entry can't be transferred or subcontracted to others without our consent. We can assign our rights under this agreement without your permission.
13. Independent Agreement
This agreement is between you and us. No other parties have any rights under it.
14. Keeping the Agreement Whole
If any part of this agreement is legally unenforceable, we’ll amend it to remain effective while staying true to our original intent.
15. Maintaining Rights
Failure to enforce any part of this agreement doesn’t mean giving up our rights to enforce it later.
16. The Full Picture
This document is our entire agreement. It replaces all previous discussions and agreements.
17. Under Which Law?
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, with legal disputes settled exclusively in the courts of Fulton County in the State of Georgia.
By submitting your reel, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
